What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a system of natural healthcare that has been present for over 200 years. It is a regulated system of medicine in Ontario Canada and is used by millions of people across the globe, most notably in India, South America and Europe. It is recognized by the World Health Organization as the second largest therapeutic system in the world and can be safely used by infants, children and people of all ages to treat acute and chronic diseases when under the supervision of a Homeopathic Practitioner. 

What information should I bring?

A homeopathic consultation involves detailed history of your presenting complaints and review of your laboratory reports, hence its best to bring all your laboratory reports which includes blood tests, ultrasound reports, CT scans etc.

Do I need a referral to see you?

A referral is not required to see us but we do encourage our patients to update their family physicians about the homeopathic treatment they wish to pursue.

 Am I covered by insurance?

Many health insurance companies cover homeopathy. However, the terms of this coverage vary according to the individual, group and self-employed plans offered within each corporate division of each company. Patients are advised to check with your extended benefits carrier whether your policy includes homeopathic treatment

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment is required. You can request an appointment 24 hours prior to visits. For acute cases appointments can be given on the same day.

My specialist wants to refer me to you? Do you have a referral form?

Yes we accept referrals from specialists, please contact our office to obtain referral forms.

Are you licenced homeopaths?

Yes our team of practitioners are licenced with the College of Homeopaths of Ontario and are members of good standing with the Ontario Homeopathic Medical Association.

How long does the initial visit last?

Our initial visit ranges from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the type  condition we are treating.

Are your services covered by OHIP?

Homeopathic services are not covered by OHIP.

Are homeopathic medicines approved?

Homeopathic medicines are approved by Health Canada, our clinic used health Canada Approved medications only which are safe and effective.

What do I do if I have an emergency?

If your experiencing an emergency medical condition kindly contact 911 immediately.

What is an average cost for treatment?

The cost of treatment depends on the medication chosen and the duration of the visits. Kindly contact our office to discuss your condition and obtain the average costs.
